This error occurs when AnyView IDS is installed on a SQL Server 7.0.  AnyView IDS does not support SQL Server 7.0, it requires SQL Server 2000 or greater.

Solution

AnyView IDS does not support SQL Server 7.0.  Please perform the AnyView IDS database install on SQL Server 2000 or greater.

Although you are installing the AnyView IDS database on a SQL 2000 server, you will still be able to access databases on the SQL 7 server using linked servers.   Please consult the AnyView IDS Console - Online Guide for more information on creating content with linked servers.Note that although we still do not officially support SQL 7 - AnyViewIDS 6.0.0.6 may run on it..
