When trying to print, the error, "Error in ASI_Set_Location. Error: Server has not yet been opened. Error -2147192184." is generated.

Typically, this error is the result of:

  1. Incorrect or missing ODBC DSN.
  2. Incorrect report table locations.

Solution

The first step in troubleshooting this issue is to print an unmodified version of the sample report.

If the sample report does not produce the error, then the problem is with the modified version of the report.
