MEM_LOCK , MEM_BAD_HANDLE and Memory Instruction Errors
6 January 2003
Issue Description
After upgrading to Microsoft Great Plains Service Pack 12 or installing Dexterity version m62, errors such as Unhandled script exceptions to Memory, MEM_LOCK, or MEM_BAD_HANDLES occur.
Solution
This issue is due to a bug in Great Plains Dexterity version m62. This version of Dexterity causes a variety of errors, including MEM_BAD_HANDLE, MEM_LOCK, and Unhandled script exceptions to Memory Instruction errors.
GP tools support has released m64 to correct the problem. Dexterity m64 can be downloaded from MSGP's at:
http://www.greatplains.com/documents/customerdownloads/Runtime600m64.htm
The download includes the instructions for installing this version. All other components of SP 12 can remain on the system.
