Message #26300 missing
Actual Message that should be displayed:
The version of Forms Printer that you are using is older than the version that is already installed on the server. Forms Printer will be disabled on this workstation until the correct version is installed.
This message means that this workstation has an older version of Forms Printer installed than what the Forms Printer Tables have been upgraded to. , and it needs to have the same version of Forms Printer Installed that is installed on the server, and other workstations.
The Version of the Forms Printer tables matches the Version of the latest Build installed on any Client.
When Forms Printer starts up, it compares the build number of itself (stored in the FPD1230.DIC file in the Great Plains Application folder), with the build number stored in the the ASI00800 Table for the company ID (usually 1 for the first company created) and Product ID (1230) in the DYNAMICS database of the SQL Server.
If it is determined that The Build on the workstation is older than the build specified in the versionBuild column of table ASI00800 in the DYNAMICS database, then the message above will be presented.
You can check the version on a functioning workstation as follows:
- Log in to Microsoft Great Plains.
- From The Application Menu bar, select Help > About Great Plains Dynamics (or eEnterprise).
- With the Help About window active, the menu item 'Extras' is displayed in the Application Menu bar.
- Choose 'Extras', then from the dropdown menu, select Forms Printer.
- This will open the Accountable Software Registration window for the selected product.
- Listed on this window is the Product Version.
Our product versions are numbered with Major Version. Minor Version. Build Number. For example: The listed product version 7.00.11 would be major version 7, minor version 0 and build 11
